The picture depicts the process of producing pears as canned fruits. Overall, it is a linear process, which comprises 14 stages, commencing with handpicking and transportation of raw materials, followed by different treatment steps, and culminating in storage and dispatch of the final canned products.
At the beginning of the process, pears are picked by hand, after which they are transported to factories for further treatment. Then, pears are washed carefully so as to remove unhygienic substances, which is followed by quality assessing for sorting. Subsequently, once sorted fruits are stored at a cold temperature to be preserved, they are weighed and graded, before being peeled for further stages.
The process continues with peeled pears having their cores removed and being cut into smaller slices. Next, these slices are placed into different containers for canning. After canned fruits are sealed, they are cooked and sterilized, before being labeled. Finally, these final canned products are stored and dispatched to different retail stores for sale.
