Aluminum recycle
Aluminum recycling is an important process of waste management, which is comprised of a number of phases, including collecting and sorting the scrap from different sources, melting and recycling, and reusing.
The recycling process starts with throwing the cans into garbage bins, which is followed by collecting those on garbage tracks and transporting to a dedicated place for recycling. Here the first phase of recycling is concluded pre-treatment processes, such as cleaning, sorting, shredding and compressing.
After the aluminum trash is pre-treated, the heating and melting process begins. The melted aluminum mass is then made into 2.5-6mm thick rolls, which is already suitable for casting and reprocessing. The molten recycled cast aluminum can be already used in different productions and purposes. The last phase of the aluminum recycling process is its reusing. The statistics prove that in the United Kingdom the 74 % Coca-Cola’s bins are made of reused aluminum.
