The diagram illustrates the way in which pulp and paper are manufactured. Overall, the entirely linear man-made process involves three main stages, beginning with cutting trees and culminating in the production of paper rolls and bales.
At the first stage, trees are cut to obtain logs and they go through chipping process where they are chopped down smaller chips. Once the purchased chips are put digester, they are sent to washers for cleaning. After being placed pulp screen, process is divided into two parts. For making rough paper for boxes, outputs are shaped into pulp former. Then formed pulp are dried and rolled into pulp reels. Ultimately, the rolls are cut into bales for packaging material such as paper boxes.
On the other hand, for refined paper for printing, cleaned pulp is dried. After pulp is pressed to produce paper, they are dried again. At the final stage, paper is rolled into rolls for selling purposes.
