The given maps illustrates how a student common room has changed between 5 years ago and now.

It is crystal clear that the room has been a significant change during the period, especially as more facilities were added to different purposes.

Regarding the plan from 5 years ago, in the North of the picture, there were six functions: a sink, a cupboard, two benches, a microwave, and a refrigerator that was provided for students. In addition, it can be seen that four round tables were arranged in the centre room, each table had six chairs. Finally, a bookshelf was at the bottom right in the corner of the map.

Concerning remaining categories at now, a sink, a cupboard, a bench, and refrigerator has still remained unchanged. However, a bench has been replaced with a microwave. Additionally, the tables have been changed a lot, two round tables were into small sizes, a round table located in the west is taken place by a rectangular table with ten chairs. Besides, the table situated in the east is removed to add more facilities. There is a new drinks machine, three armchairs and televisions in the corner of the room for the purpose of relaxation. Last bench for laptops is in the north of the plan.
