The diagrams illustrate how a pre-school classroom has changed between 2010 and the present day.
Overall, the classroom has experienced considerable transformation, with the most notable change being the removal of certain facilities to create more convenient space. However, the amenities on the right-hand side have largely remained unchanged.
In 2010, three sets of tables and chairs were arranged in the center of the classroom, with a teacher’s room located nearby. Above this area, two play zones were positioned on the left- and right-hand sides to provide space for children. In addition, shelves were placed next to the windows, while another play area was situated in the left-hand corner. On the right-hand side of the room, several facilities such as a whiteboard, an art area, an adult sink, and a child sink were available to serve the classroom.
At present, three sets of tables and chairs have been removed, leaving only one set in the center. The teacher’s room and the play area in the left-hand corner have been replaced by two additional sets of tables and chairs. Meanwhile, the shelves have been added and expanded, while the arrangement of tables and chairs at the top of the classroom has remained unchanged. Finally, the amenities on the right-hand side are still located in the same position as before.
