The diagram illustrates the small-scale commericial production of honey.
Overall, the process involves two main phases that are bee phase and human phase. There are eight steps in this process, beginning with the collection of nectar and ending with the selling of honey.
At the bee phase of the process, the nectar is gathered before being deposited to the beehives. This is followed by the drying of the honey, where bees use their fan wings to keep the cells of the hives clean.
Turning to the human phase of the process, the cells are sealed with wax before gathering honey combs. Subsequently, the combs are pressed in order to collect honey, which is then poured into the sump tank and heated in temperature between 45 and 50OC. After being heated, honey is transported to the sieve tank, where dirts and other unnecessary items are removed. It takes from two to four days for the settling tank to settle the pure honey. The process concludes with putting honey into jars and delivering products to stores and supermarkets for selling.
