Percentage of fast food consumption fell slightly by the age of people. The highest number of calories from fast food ate men by the age 18-34, 17% calories a day, to compare with the highest percentage of calories eat by women during the period-16% daily. In the 35-49 age group, both gender had reduced intake, with men consuming about 11% and women around 9%.
Moreover, quite similar trend was by people aged 50-64, where percentage dropped significantly to 9% for males and 7% for females. The lowest amount were recorded for individuals aged 65+of their daily calories from junk food, about 5% for men, whereas about 4% for women.
In summary, fast food consumption declined with the age for both gender, with younger people, especially men, having the highest percentage.
