The bar charts illustrate the proportion of males and females in one country included in different types of home chores namely (cooking, cleaning, pet caring and repairing the house) and how much time they spend to do these activities.
Overall, while the women are more active in cooking food and cleaning the house, the men in animal husbandry and home maintenance is slightly higher than opposite gender. Additionally, the proportion is almost the same as the time they spend doing these tasks.
In the first chart, the females are dominant in both cooking and cleaning activities with roughly 82% and 62%. Meanwhile, opposite gender is almost 22% lower in both tasks with 60% and 40%. However, the men become visible as a leader in pet caring with 22% compered to 20% represented by their female counterparts. Similarly, meles are also significantly more active than opposite side in house repairing with 18% and opposite side shows only 8%.
When it comes to the average quantity of time, the same patterns can be observed. While females lead in cooking with 85 minutes, men spend an hour to do this task. Likewise, cleaning requires about 68 minutes per day from women, men spend 23 minutes less then females. Both genders spend same time for pet caring with 20%. Only males spend more time for house repairing with 18 minutes and women spend just 5 minutes a day.
