Overall, science remained the most popular choice among applicants despite being caught up twice and once overtaken by music in the given period. However, music and arts were the two least opted for at the starting and ending point, correspondingly. While science and arts witnessed a growth, music experienced a drop in general despite a flutuation.
From 1970s to 1990s, science’s rate rose gradually from 80% to about 85%, which was 15% higher than arts when compared at 1990s.
