Overall, science remained the most popular choice among applicants despite being caught up twice and once overtaken by music in the given period. However, music and arts were the two least opted for at the starting and ending point, correspondingly. While science and arts witnessed a growth, music experienced a drop in general despite a flutuation.
From 1970s to 1990s, science’s rate rose gradually from 80% to about 85%, which was 15% higher than arts when compared at 1990s. Whereas a boom of three tenths was recored in percentage of music, by far overtaking science by 10% at 1980s prior to its collapse to 75% at the ending point of the given time.
