The bar graph shows the locations in which the humans accessed internet with a 2 year interval starting from 1998 to 2004 in the United Kingdom.
Overall, it is evident from the graph that the amount of people who served online from home was the highest throughout the period. The least used place was the library.
It can be seen that about 55% of the population accessed internet from home in the year 1998 which dropped slightly below half in 2000. However it again rose back to 50 in 2002 and reached the initial value of around fifty five percentage by 2004. In contrast, the access to internet from library was just about 10 percent in the year 1998. It reached near 20% in 2000, but reduced to a value around 15 percent and remained the same until the end of the given period.
Moreover, the percentage of population that surfed online from work remained just below 30% in 1998 and 2000 respectively. In 2002, it came down to 25% and declined dramatically below 20 by 2004. Likewise, the access to online from college remained the same at 20% in 1998 and 2000. In 2002, it reached around one fourth of the population and dipped below one fifth by 2004.
