Overall, all the figures aforementioned experienced upward trend over the time. Meanwhile, the mobile phone recorded the highest point in the final year.
To be more specific, regarding the internet in the first two years, people who used the internet stayed at a plateu at just under 10 millions people. However, from 1996, internet was on the rise, hitting its high of nearly 200 Millions users.
In terms of mobile phone and fixed telephone line, both went up exponentially during the period. Fixed telephone line started at about 30 Millions users, then saw a soar to get the second highest users of 350 Millions in 2005. Besides, although the use of mobile phone was innitially lower than that of fixed telephone line, in 2001, it surpassed fixed telephone line and topped the chart with 450 millions of users.
