The bar graph illustrates average percentage of daily calories from fast food by gender in 2015. Overall, it is clearly seen that, The proportion of the consumption of fast food decreased when the age group got older and the percentages of consumption of fast food among men was higher than women in all age groups.
The portion of the daily calories from fast food among men aged 18-34 were nearly 17% and it was the highest percentage in the bar graph, likewise to men, women aged 18-34 were 16%. We can see significant decrease when we look at the people aged 35-49. The percentages of fast food consumption among both men and women aged 35-49 were over 10% and just under respectively.
The proportions of the daily calories from fast food was similar to both gender aged 50-64 with roughly 9% but it was a little high among men than women.The percentages of consumption of fast food among men and women aged 65+ were approximately 4%.
