The given bar chart illustrates the proportion of women and men who consumed fast food during the day in 2015.
Overall, it is clear that men ate more fast food as opposed to women. Fast food consumption was the highest in the young ages and the least in the old ages in both sexes.
Both men and women had the highest percentage of not healthy products, 17% and 16% respectively, in 18-34 years old. While both sexes aged over 65 had the least. The most significant difference in consumption was in old age about 2% between men and women.
With regards to the fast food consumption in the middle ages, the figures were almost similar. In 35-49 age group, men’s consumption was just over 10% and women’s totaled about 9%. In addition, men ate approximately 9% of daily calories from fast food compared to almost 9% in women aged 50-64.
