Firstly, the percentage of students in America was significantly higher during the entire period. From 2000 to 2005, the number of students rose from 1.5 million to 2 million. Between 2005 and 2010, the number of students increased by 1 million, and from 2010 to 2015, it grew from 3 million to 5 million.
In contrast, the number of students in France from 2000 to 2005 decreased by 1 million, dropping from 3.5 million to 2.5 million. Afterward, from 2005 to 2010, the number remained stable at 2.5 million. However, from 2010 to 2015, the number of students climbed to 5 million.
Finally, during the years 2000 to 2005, the number of Russian students declined from 3 million to 2.1 million. From 2005 to 2010, this number dropped further to 1.8 million. However, from 2010 to 2015, the number of students in Russia rose from 1.8 million to 2.5 million.
