The line graph displays the four kinds of milk products consumed in America over the period of 40 years.
Overall, there was a significant amount spent by each person on cheese among the other milk products which ultimately shows its higher consumption. The whole-fat ice creams were mostly preferred than the low-fat one over the whole period, while the money spent on yougurt consistently went up to roughly about 8 pounds per person.
By analyzing the line graph, it can be seen clearly at the beginning, people spent more on full-fat ice creams than any of the milk products until about 1976. Afterwards, there was a slight drop observed from around 10 to 7 pounds per consumer till 2010. On the other hand, initially cheese came at the second place after ice-cream . From 1975, the money expended on cheese by each person consistenly went up to an estimation of 22 pounds.
In contrast, the expenditure per person on low-fat ice creams were remain almost same throughout the whole period which was 4 pounds, approximately. However, no one spent on yogurt in 1970. Afterwards, there had been a steady climb from 0 to 8 pounds surpassing both the categories of ice-creams.
