The line graph shows Chile’s demographic information of three groups, from 1975 to 2035.
Overall, it is clear that teenagers have the biggest proposition of the three groups. Followed by groups with people from 15-64 years old and at the least are groups of elderly with people from 65 years old and over.
Looking at the graph more closely, one can see that the groups of teenagers from 0-14 years old rose heavily from 1975 to 2015, peaking at 70 percent in 2015. Then it will reduce from 70 percent to 60 percent in the next ten years. But still ranked first in 60 years. On the one hand, the groups from 15-64 years old were roughly halved through 60 years. It started with 40 percent in 1975 then fell 25 percent in the next 60 years and it’s about to drop to third place in 2035. On the other hand, the number of people from 65 years old went up continually from 1975 to 2035. It experienced the fastest growth in 30 years from 2005 to 2035, from 7 percent to almost 20 percent. And it’s about to move up to groups age from 15-64 years old.
