The table illustrates the number of automobiles produced in three countries – Argentina, Australia, and Thailand – between 2003 and 2009.
Overall, the number of cars produced in Argentina and Thailand increased significantly during the whole period, whereas the reverse was true for Australia. It is also worth noting that Thailand remained the highest car producer country throughout the entire timeframe.
Starting with Argentina and Australia, the figure for the former country stood at 235,088 in 2003 before increasing dramatically to 352,159 in 2006, while the number of cars manufactured in Australia dropped noticeably to 341,268 in 2006 from 452,163 initially. These trends, however, were continuously observed by 2009, with the figure for vehicles produced in Argentina reaching 466,089, whereas Australia experienced a considerable downward trend, falling to 245,624.
Turning to Thailand, this was the only country which exhibited a fluctuation during the whole period. Having risen to 1,162,356 in 2006 from an initial 735,852 in 2003, the number automobiles decreased slightly to 999,963 at the end; despite this, Thailand led the car production.
