Overall, many people prefered travel to work on foot in 1959, while started to got familiar with using in 2009. The average time and distance to got to both destinations were much longer in 2009 than in 1959, with only traveling by train remained unchange over 50 years.
In 1959, car was only 10% used by the European population, but later became the highest with 35% public utilized in 2009. Whereas, other vehicles were the fewest to be seen outside road at 5%, but increased significant at around 12% in 2009. From the graph, train hadn’t got approved or decreased in the same two years.
