The bar graph depicts the number of men and women smokers in Bhutan. On the y-axis, the number of smokers and represented where as on the x-axis, the years are given.
Overall, the number of smokers, both men and women, has reduced drastically over the course of four decades . In the year 1975, there were around 350 women smokers in comparison to 550 men smokers. The number of female smokers in the year 1960 was negligible. However, the number of male smokers began with 600 and plummeted over time.
It is significant from the illustration that women started smoking in the year 1960 and the figures grew steadily till1975 where it was at its peak and took the edge off in the consequent years.
In the 2000, around 150 women still continue to smoke, whereas its the double for men. Briefly we can conclude that the number of men smokers has remarkably gone in contrast to women smokers in Bhutan.
