The line graph compares how the unemployment rate among young people aged 15-24 changed over a 12 year period.
Overall, the statistics for unemployment grew noticeably in all European countries, except Germany. Particularly, the highest rate of unemployment happened in Italy, while Germany showed the opposite rate.
To begin, the youth unemployment faced a significant rise in both Britain and Sweden. During the given period of 2000-2012 Britain doubled in case of unemployment starting from 10 reaching its peak in 2009 by approx 27% and it dropped about 20 % by the end of period. Sweden respectively showed the same results starting with above 10% and moderately rose up to about 22%. Although, in the beginning of the year had 20%of unemployment, till 2008 it fluctuated, by the 2012 it reached a peak of 24%
Youth unemployment was the highest in Italy. It started from below 30%then went down to 22%. After 2007 it sharply went up its climb 35% by 2012. While Germany had a downward trend, starting from 10% by 2005 it showed the highest spot approximately 15% then it dropped to 10% till the end of year it remained unchanged.
