Overall, it is patiently obvious that the amount of oil million barrels manufactured and used in China saw upwards trends over the years surveyed was higher than consumption in the first 10 years while the opposite was true for the remaining years.
In 1982, the amount of oil barrels produced in China was 2 million oil barrels while 1,9 million of oil barrels were consumed in China. After that, the figures of oil barrels produced increased slightly and continued to remain stable at about 3 million of oil barrels in 1994. By contrast, the figures of oil stayed unchanged over the next 8 years and saw a slight rise of about 3.3 million of oil barrels in 1994.
By 2006, the amount of oil barrels production saw a further rise to 3.2 million oil barrels in 1988 and witnessed a gradual increase to roughly 3.4 million of oil barrels in 2006. Meanwhile, the proportion of oil barrel consumption accelerated fast from 3.3 to 5 million of oil barrels over 8 years and reached a peak around 6 million of oil barrels at the end of the year period.
