The provided illustrations demonstrate a redevelopment of a coal mine from a working mine to a visitor attraction.

Overall, noticeable changes can be seen after the redevelopment of the mine.

Some buildings were saved after reconstruction, while most of the area has been reconstructed. A large area of waste tips one and two has been replaced with some facilities.

Looking at the map, the office and staff changing room were redeveloped into a big museum, while, behind the building, a parking lot has remained unchanged. There is an entrance for the underground mine for visitors, which was originally fitted for workers. A lorry park has been changed into a souvenir shop next to the café. There was a medical room between the entrance for underground workers and the lorry park, which has been rebuilt into a café.

Waste tips one and two have been demolished in order to build a picnic area and a digger driving track. Next to the picnic area, a children’s play area has been built. A footpath was introduced along the digger driving track, the café, the souvenir shop, and the picnic area.
