Overall, it can be noted that Mexico has the highest rate of willingness. Conversely, the lowest willingness rate is in Japan. The five countries that are more inclined to insect products consists of Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Thailand and China.
Almost around 71% of Mexico’s population is ready for insect based products, followed by Peru at 58%, Thailand at 56%, Brazil at 45%, and lastly China at 44%. All these nations have more willingness compared to unwillingness. Additionally, only China is the biggest country among all five that are inclined towards insect based products.
Notably, most of the powerfull countries like the USA, the UK, India, Russia, Australia, Spain, South Africa, and Japan were not much interested in these kind of products. As there willingness was just at 35%, 36%, 33%, 32%, 34%, 33%, 39%, and 21%, respectively.
