The map shows the Southwest airport now and next year, after redevelopment.
Overall, it can be seen that the airport will open more gates and install a variety of facilities at departures and arrivals zones in the next year for passenger convenience.
At the departure zone, the cafe on the right side will be replaced with a check-in counter that relocates from the opposite side of its original location. The left side will be added with a bag drop zone along the slide with a cafe. After passing security passport control from departure, there will be several shops. At the moment, there are 8 gates, and passengers have to use the walkway for moving between gates. Going forward, the airport will extend the number of gates to 18 with a larger concourse and the walkway will be replaced with a skytrain.
Moving to the arrivals zone, currently there are no facilities in the zone. During the year, the airport will provide a cafe and ATM on the right side. Also, the airport will add a car-hiring zone for passengers.
