Overall, the bookstore has witnessed a noticeable rearrangement of different book genres in order to accommodate more seats and beverage service.
Looking first at the map in 2000, upon entering the bookstore through an entrance located on the left-hand side, customers could immediately reach travel and new books sections, facing the entrance. On the right-hand side, there was a service desk in the near corner while a non-fiction section was located relatively further, on the same side. In the middle of the store, three smaller areas were dedicated to respective categories: art, hobbies, and cookery. Meanwhile, the left wing and the far-left corner were wholly devoted to fiction books.
At present, the entrance, the travel and new books area, and the service desk have remained unchanged. However, the rest of the bookstore has experienced major alteration, with the old non-fiction books area converted into a new cafeteria, mainly serving coffee for guests. The central area has been transformed significantly, now equipped with three round tables and three sets of chairs. The largest area on the left-hand side of the shop has been adjusted to store four types of books, including art, hobbies, cookery, and fiction. Finally, the far-left corner, which used to contain fiction books, is now space for non-fiction.
