The two picture compare the Norbiton industrial area now and the planned future development of the site.
Overall, the main change for the future development involves the addition of new constructed building. Then the factory will be replaced by housing. The area will become more modernised and less industrial.
In the current area, there is a central roundabout that surrounded by factories and a road from west to east. In the future , the roundabout will remain but the factories will be transformed into shops,a medical centre, and some housing. Furthermore, on the east side, a school will be built in the end of the road and The playground will also added as well as the small pathway that is connecting to it
Outside the central area, a smaller roundabout will be constructed in the south. In the north, there will be a bridge over the river and the farmland will be replaced by housing with the farmland will be relocated to the northeast of the area. Moreover, on the west side, a new extended road from the center roundabout will lead to another two additional housing.
