The two maps illustrates the Norbiton industrial area at present and the planned future development.
Currently, there are some factories located on the east side of the town, which are distributed along the road. There is a river to the north of the factory. It separates factories from the northernmost farmland.
Initially, it is clear that in the future plan, factories disappeared and there’ll be seven housings as substitutes.
Moreover, another smaller ring road is about to be built in the south of the original ring road. A bride is planned for the north of the map to cross the river and render access to the housing that will be located in the farmland.
Finally, some new infrastructures which never have before are considered in the design. The school will be located in the east of the map, between the river and the southernmost road. The playground will be located north of the eastern branch of the circular road, under the river. The store and medical center will be located between the original ring road and the new ring road.
