The maps illustrate how the layout of one of the departments at university developed between 1980 and 2010.
Overall, it can be seen that the department area became much bigger and convenient with the introduction of a few seminar rooms, an IT center, and a car park. However, the green are was lost due to the newly constructed facilities.
In the first year, there were two seminar rooms in the western side of the department building. On the opposite side, the third room for seminars was situated next to a small library and an office below it, with all the rooms facing the corridor. In the east, the building was surrounded by trees.
After 30 years, thye area saw significant changes. One of the biggest changes was the establishment of two more seminars rooms, with the corridor and the building itself being expanded. The library was relocated to a new smaller building (built instead of the trees) on the right, which was opposite the IT office, linked via a corridor. The office in the main building became more spacious after the former library part was added. Finally, a car park was developed next to the main entrance, which never changed.
