The given image showcases two maps of the Colwick Art Center—one from 2005 and the other representing its present layout. In general, the center has undergone significant changes in its design and facilities.
Firstly, the snack bar, which was located in the northwest part of the area, has been removed and transformed into a café.The meeting room has been divided into two distinct sections—Meeting Room 1 and Meeting Room 2. Additionally, the two galleries have been merged into a larger, single one, situated between the meeting rooms and the café.
The toilet has been relocated to the east side of the center. The concert hall and cinema have also undergone changes; they are now two separate buildings.
One of the major additions to the Colwick Art Center is the new Central Exhibition Hall, which has been constructed in the middle of the area, adjacent to the information desk. Furthermore, a drama studio has been built between the cinema and Meeting Room 1.
Lastly, a huge wasteland, which was occupying the southern part of the area, has been developed into a delightful recreation zone. This new outdoor space now features a stage for hosting exhibitions and performances.
