The plans illustrate how the first floor of an art gallery changed from 2005 to now.
Overall, the gallery has been completely transformed. In addition, several facilities and rooms have been added to this structures.
In 2005, the visiotors can go into the art gallery hall by entering through the entrance to the south. The receptions desk was in the far end of the hall, in front of stairs which at the back of the gallery. The guests can go to the exhibition 1 to 3 by walking along side by side to the east wing of the hall. On the opposite side, there were exhibition 4 as well as the gallery office and cafe zone. The cafe located in the upper west conner, next to the office. The biggest room on west wing, to the left of the entrance was exhibition 4, taking up the entire southwest corner.
At present, there has been a significant change. The wheelchair ramp has been added outside, leading to the entrance hall. Moreover, the reception desk has been moved to the the middle of Grand hall, more convinient for visiotors. The lifts has been built next to the old stairs and 3 exhibition rooms on the right-hand side have stayed the same. The most noticeable change has been recorded in the west wing. The cafe shop has been made smaller and in fact it has been coverted into Gallery shop. The office has been demolished, make way for Vending machine. Recently, the exhibition room 4 has been separated to 2 different rooms: children’s area at lower left-hand side corner and next to it is Temporary exhibition.
