The given maps illustrate various changes the seaside resort of Templeton underwent during a 15-year period from 1990 to 2005.
Overall, the coastal resort of Templeton witnessed remarkable developments. Most noticeably is the reduction in size of green spaces to accommodate new facilities. Besides that, its transportation system was improved significantly.
Looking at the maps more details, in the southwest part of Templeton, in 1990, around a lake was mostly housing. These housing later converted into multiple blocks of flats with some houses were constructed along the road in the south. In the southwest of the maps, in 1990 it was more housing and green spaces, were replaced by a big supermarket with a new road and two blocks of flats in 2005.
In 2005, there was an additional railway line along the river. In addition, the school, hospital and parking space did not change, only a few additional houses were built behind the hospital and an airport was placed in the north. Besides that, all houses were knocked down and all trees were cut down to make space for an additional factory and a new ferry.
