Overall, the road system will undergo a number of transformations, the most noteworthy of which are the redevelopment of this road network along with the addition of some traffic lights and a roundabout to reduce the number of accidents.
Looking first at the west section, the intersection of Low Lane and City Road is situated on the left side of the map where crash problems occur frequently. Thus, four traffic lights are proposed to be installed in each corner at this crossroad to enhance safety as well as minimize accidents. Additionally, a school will remain intact in the far left corner in the future. Similarly, some residential areas on both sides of the Low Lane are expected to stay the same over the given period. Another striking change is that the section of Low Lane connecting to Forest Road will be upgraded, addressing the frequent accidents occurring in this area.
With respect to changes in the remaining areas in the east section, the first major transformation can be observed at the intersection of City Road and Forest Road, where a comparatively large roundabout is planned to be built to replace the current accident-prone junction. Furthermore, City Road is proposed to be straightened from the west to the east sections of the map through the roundabout. As for the northeast section of the map, if one wants to reach a supermarket, one will have to take a small pathway which deviates from City Road directly to this supermarket. However, that path is planned to be replaced with a connection to the roundabout, ensuring safer and more efficient access to the supermarket.
