The given pie charts compare the information about the most widespread reasons why students chose to study at the specific university of UK from 1987 to 2007. Looking from an overall perspective, the main cause is that the university offers suitable degree courses in both 1987 and 2007.
It can be clearly seen that the quality of resources was in the second place of reasons throughout the period, although its popularity dropped from 21% to 17% showing a slight drop. Interestingly, it the reason of being closing to parenting replaced it, accounting just for 22% in 2007, whereas it was only 10% in 1987.
It is evident from the graph, that in the past good sports and social activities were in priorities of students. However, the percentage of this reason showed an decrease in about 3 times. In 2007 the quality of teaching has become the most insignificant reason in the term of choosing the university, whereas in 1987 it didn’t show the lowest proportion.
