The three pie charts shows the most known sports in France secondary shcools in five different categories – tennis, swimmimg, basketball, football, and other – in the years 1990,2000, and 2010.
Overall, swimming was the preferred sport in each year, while basketball replaced ‘other’ as the second most well-liked category in the final year. Tennis was the least favorite of the sports in each of the given years.
Swimming was shown the most well-known sport in each year, with 39%, 48% and 41% for 1990, 2000, and 2010, respectively. After swimmimg, the wanted category was ‘other’ with 25% in 1990 and 23% in 2000, but this figure fell to 19% in 2010. Meanwhile, other famous sport in French secondary shcools was basketball, from 16% to 7, in firts two years, and in the final year to 25%.
Regarding, the lowest percenatge in sports was tennis at about 4% in 1990 and 2000, the number had risen slowly by 2010 to about 7%. Finally, football joined basketball as the second least popular sport in 1990 at 16%.It experienced a slight increase in popularity to 18% in 2000, but this was followed by a substantial decrease to 8% in 2010
