The given three pie charts illustrate that how much spending on food consumption among consumers in the United States by the sort of meals in 2000, 2010 and 2020. Overall, it is clear that snacks and sodas accounted for the largest share in all three years while dairy products made up the smallest proportions.
In the first pie chart, the largest share of products was allocated to snack and sodas which accounted for 31% of total. Another striking point is that chart is made up 26% by meat and fish products. Also, bread, cereal, rice and fruits and vegetables constituted average proportions with 17, 15%, respectively. Hence, dairy products experienced the smallest portion in 2000.
In 2010, it can be seen that the biggest part was still possessed by snacks and sodas, at 35%, followed by meat and fish with 22% and fruits and vegetables with 19%. Afterwards, bread, cereal, rice allocated to 14% and dairy products with only 10% of pie.
In the last chart, in 2020, fast food consumption was in the highest level with 36%. Secondly, people had began to consume organic products at 20%. Bread, cereal and rice were eaten by people at 13%. It can thus be inferred that meat and fish and dairy products experienced the lowest s
