Overall, it is clear that the qualification levels of employees in the surveyed company increased over the given period. Notably, the proportion of graduates with degrees in science were higher than that of those with degrees in art.
Looking at the charts in detail, in 1980, workers holding master’s degree in science accounted for the largest shared, at 29%, compared to those graduating Ph.D in the same major with 25%. In addition, 20% of bachelors of science were considerably higher than 13% of masters of art. In the same year, the figure for bachelors of art stayed at 11%, followed by the proportion of graduates with Ph.D in science at only 2%, registered the lowest figure among the six categories.
Over the following 18 years, the percentage of employees holding Ph.D in science surpassed 29% of those graduating master’s degree and took the lead with a remarkably growth to 30%.
