Overall, in both years economics was the most popular subject, whereas the percentage of Mandarin as a subject had a minority. Furthermore, the segments of science accounted for a significant percentage overall in the given years.
According to a chart that includes older data, economics made up 24% of the most chosen subject, in comparison to 2010, it accounted for an even larger percentage, at 30%. Also, students were interested in science in the first year, at a fifth, and accounted for 16% in 2010. In the given years, mathematics showed the same interest in the university, at 10% .
On the other hand, engineering was the third most popular subject in 2000 with 15%, and also English was similar to it. On the contrary, engineering only made up 5% of the popularity in the second year, and the percentage of English declined to 2%. Subsequently, accounting and business studies became more common during the years, they comprised 5-5% of the subjects, and slightly increased to 9% and 11%.
Moreover, cyber security had a negligible rise from 3% to 5%, and also art and design from 2% to 9%,and Mandarin rose 1% to 3%.
