The rendered maps cast light on layout of ground floor of a museum in 1990 and in 2010.There are many portions in museum which includes gift shop, natural history room,museum office and local history room in common in both years.
Overall, it can be noticed that there are slight changes in the map of museum in 1990 and in 2010.Earlier, the reception counter was far away from museum office but then in 2010 the counter was joined with the musuem office.The lift was also introduced in 2010 which was earlier not available alongwith the gift and cafe shop.Children’s interactive zone and poster display area was also made in place of archaelogy gallery.
At the outset, the prime look makes it crystal clear that in 1990 there were five portions.On entrance, there was local history room on the right side and museum office on left side including the reception counter.On the top left corner was the gift shop and natural history room in centre of the office and shop.On the opposite side the leftover area was covered with archaeology gallery.
Further, delving deeper into the map it can be illustrated that in 2010 there were six portions.A lift was invented and the reception counter was separated from the museum office.In place of archaeology gallery poster display area and children’s interactive zone was made.
