The chart provides statistics on the number of people belonging to different age brackets were employed in selected categories of the economy.
Overall, manufacturing was by far the dominant job in all age groups, whereas the lowest chosen occupations among all demographics belonged to accountancy and law. Noticeably, the 18- to- 25 years -old witnessed the largest disproportionate in the number of workers among categories employment.
Looking at the chart in more detail, in terms of data on a young demograhic, retail was the most appealing occupation with 23% of people opting for working, followed closely by other area, which constituted for 21%. In the meantime, the popularity of manufacturing and health shared the same points at 12% and halved that of retail. Additionally, The proportion of Local government and education young employees hovered between 8% and 9%. According to the figure for the segment of the labour force aging from 25 to 40, other and health fields recorded the highest number of workers, at 18%, while that for health and manufacturing followes closely at 15% .Following the same pattern as data on health and manufacturing popularity , there was hardly any difference between the percentage of employees among two areas, at 12%. Close examination on the middle-age workers data revealed that manufacturing’s figure by far surpassed that for other categories. Besides this demographic proportion was the same as that of 25-to-40 age bracket
By contrast, among all sectors employment, accountancy and law registered the lowest number of workers for these areas, however, the latter’s figure was unchanged between three age groups at just 4% . Additionally, the percentage of people opting for agriculture and catering fields ranged from 4% to 9% across the age ranges. Retail and other sectors witnessed the largest disparity in the number of workers in all age groups, while manufactoring, health and eductaion recorded a much more stable figures
