Initially, the underground railway system of London is the oldest among the others’ techniques, which opened in 1863. It is also considered one of the most longest due to the route of 394 kms. These figures were closely followed by enterprise from Paris, which started its work in the beginning of the previous century, and have almost 200kms of their road there. According to the evidence, 775,000,000 and 1,191,000,000 individuals prefer these stations.
Tokyo and Washington DC opened their railways in 1927 and 1967, respectively. Additionally, their metrics accounted for 155 kilometres and 125 kilometres, respectivly. In contrast, Tokyo hosts the largest number of citizens per year. Interestingly, almost 1927 million individuals commute by this railway. Regarding Washington DC, it is noted that 144,000,000 passengers choose it yearly.
However, another city from Japan, Kyoto launched 54 years later, and in the following two decades Los Angeles created its own mechanism. The table reveals that they do not offer long roads as they are estimated at 11 lenght units and 28 lenght units. Similarly, it is obvious that less citizens opt for these railways, owing to the fact that there are approximately 45 and 50 million passangers per year.
