overall, students choosing community schools more now a days while in the past voluntary controlled schools were more popular among them while the other institutions showed slight downward trend.
in the year 2000, students preferred voluntary-controlled schools most with about 52 percent of the student’s enrollment. While grammar school being second lowest with a percent less than quarter and equal to total percentages of specialist and community schools. But in the 2005 voluntary-controlled school’s students attendance reduced dramatically into 38 percent and community school’s attendance have a rise about 32 percent. Specialist schools and grammar schools showed a slight downward trend. But in the year 2009 community school passes voluntary-controlled school and have an attendance of 58 percent of total students. While Voluntary-controlled schools drop down to 20 percent, grammar school into 12 percent and specialist schools into 10 percent of total student’s attendance.
