In terms of the proportion of women in the workforce, nearly half of it in Japan are females, followed closely by the United States, making up for a marginally lower rate with 46%. Meanwhile, women in Australia and Sri LanKa accounted for 42% and 41% of the workforce respectively, nearly double those in Egypt (20%).
Regarding the percentage of female managers, Australia and the United States share the same portion of women managers with 43%, indicating that these countries present the highest share of women working as managers. In contrast, the figure for Sri Lanka constitutes the lowest rate, with only 9% of women in managing positions. Specifically, the percentage of women managers in Japan is almost as much as that in Egypt, with 17% and 12% respectively.
