The table illustrates the breakdown of scores for the IELTS general test in 2010 for four countries; Germany, France, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
Overall, people who speaks German are more fluent than the others and has got the highest band score. French people are the second most highest among the rest.
In Germany, they top almost all of the categories for the IELTS english test including listening, writing, and speaking. While in France and in Malaysia, their scores are close and not bad at all since a lot of people living there speaks English. Though a lot of Indonesian people speaks fluently in English, their scores in Reading and Writing still can be improved.
Even though English might not be everyone’s native tongue, it is still considered as the universal language. And we need to learn it and be conversational with it. Because in a lot of countries, it is mainly used.
