Overall, Asian countries attract fewer people than European ones. Moreover, Hong Kong is the only state where the number of tourists decreased in 2010, compared to the previous year.
Only France demonstated stability throughout years, as it has been visited by 76 million people in 2009 and 2010. On contrary, Germany has the sharpest growth between two given years increasing from 11 to 23 million, which is a 109% rise.
Out of six European states only two of them have less than 50 million tourists in 2010, these are Germany and Italy with 23 and 45 million respectively. Turkey accounts for 33 million visitors in 2009, which is the biggest number among Asian states with China being only second with 22 millions in the given year.
