The chart displays the number of foreign visitors’ arrivals came to nine countries and the persentage changes from 2009 to 2010.
Overall, France remained leading country among international visitors without having a change. Germany, China and Turkey are countries that experienced greatest increase in tourists over the period; Hong Kong, however, was the only country to have negative change in number of visitors from abroad.
France was the only country that experienced neither increase nor decrease in number of international visitors between 2009 and 2010, having 76 million tourists annualy in both years. Germany, China and Turkey escalated number of tourists by 109, 55 and 33 percents, respectively. Accordingly, Germany had 11 million foreigners in 2009 and made double of that number in 2010, reaching 23 million people. Other countries saw brief growth in tourists as well. US, the second leading country in the table, rised number of visitors from different countries from 66 million to 67 million, making 1.5 percent change. In contrast, Hong Kong was the exceptional country, among other countries in the chart, which withstand decrease in change. It had fell from 10 million to 9 million tourists one year after 2009.
