The table provides information on the results of a 2004 survey about the satisfaction level from both undergraduate and postgraduate students of a university in Britain for its study facilities in bedrooms, cafeteria and social facilities. Overall, most students were very satisfied with all three facilities. However, undergraduates reported higher dissatisfaction towards bedroom study facilities and social facilities.
In terms of study facilities in bedrooms, the majority of both groups seemed very satisfied (66% for postgraduates and 67% for undergraduates). The percentage of postgraduates who were quite satisfied was 5 points higher than not satisfied at all at 20%, whereas more undergraduates (26%) displayed dissatisfaction than being quite satisfied (26% vs 17%).
As for university cafeteria, although both groups expressed overall satisfaction, more undergraduates were very satisfied than postgrads (70% vs 52%), and they showed the lowest dissatisfaction rate in this category at only 3%.
Concerning social facilities, the contrast was reversed, with the vast majority of postgrads (80%) expressed higher level of satisfaction, significantly higher than the data of undergraduates, who seemed extremely unsatisfied with this facility (30%).
