The table shows the sales (in millions of euros) of fair trade level coffee and banana in the UK, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium, and Sweden in 1999 to 2004.
Overall, you can see the sales of coffee in all five countries had increased remarkably over the 5-year period. However, over the period, sales of bananas had rose more significantly rather than the sales of coffee, although the sales of bananas did not gained popularity in all five countries like coffee did.
In 1999, coffee sales were 1.5 million euros in the UK which had rose dramatically up to 20 million euros in 2004. However the sales of coffee only made a slight increase in Belgium, Denmark, and Sweden which is 1, 1.8, and 0.8 million of euros in 1999 to 1.7, 2, and 1 millions of Euros in 2004. While coffee sales in Switzerland increased fundamentally from 3 million of Euros in 1999 to 6 million of Euros in 2004.
