The two given maps describe the development of an island from the past to the present.
Overall, the establisment of some tourist estate brought a variety of changes to the island. It is noticeable that a variety of significant modifications were made including the building of a pier, vehicle tracks, houses and a restaurant.
In detail, it had no direct way to access the island previously, however, a pier was built as the main entrance. In the middle, a reception house could be seen, surrounded by a curved driveway that leads to a restaurant.
The two maps also highlight an infrastructure revolution on the island, which was the addition of multiple accomodation units on either side of the island, unlike before when there were only palm trees and most of places were empty. Besides, the footpaths were erected to travel conveniently from the residence areas to the restaurant and the reception.
In the east of the island, swimming facility was developed and connected to the island by a a walkway. Meanwhile, the northwest part of the island remained unchanged.
