The drawings illustrate the changes made to the road access at City Hospital between 2007 and 2010. Overall, there was an increase in vehicle traffic, which led to the construction of a new bus station, two roundabouts, and a separate public car park. These developments helped reduce traffic congestion around the hospital.
On the southern side of the hospital, the main change is the construction of a new bus station connected to two roundabouts, which were built at the intersections of Hospital Road with Ring Road and City Road. The six bus stops that existed along Hospital Road in 2007 were removed by 2010.
Another significant change was the division of the original car park, which was for both staff and public, into two separate parking areas. One remained for staff, while a new public car park was built on the eastern side of the hospital. It is also noticeable that most changes occurred in the southwestern part of the hospital, while the northeastern area remained mostly unchanged.
