The pie chart illustrates the percent of the significance of industrial production in shaping Turkey’s economic development over a 16-year period from 2000 to 2016.
Overall, it is obvious that the contribution to the economy of turkey by half of the sectors experienced a slight decrease by 2016,with the exception of Construction and Finace ,Business and other showed a quite big leap to the end of the period.
Turning to the details,in 2000 the figure for Leisure and agriculture started at 17 % and 24%, then both of them saw a slight decrease reaching 14 % in 2016. As was the case for government ,the percentage of consumers witnessed a modest decline from 12 % in 2000 to 9% in 2016. The only constant that will endure unchanged is Healthcare and education which demonstrate result of 17% at the beggining and at the end of the period.
With regards to other sectors, Finance and trade they appeared a relatively low rate of growth from 5% and 14% in 2000 to 8% and 16 % in 2016. Additionally ,in 2000 Construction and manufacturing surpassed their previous performance ,reaching a new progress in 10% and 12% commencing from a low baseline at 3% and 8% respectively. By the end of the period half of the industrial sectors registered a marginal fall,whereas others outperformed their earliest results.
